Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.

The Information Technology department is seeking a motivated, analytical, and customer-service oriented individual for the auxiliary full-time position of Innovation and Systems Co-op.

Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, and under the general supervision of the Team Leads in the Innovation and Infrastructure Team, the Innovation and Systems Co-op conducts and supports technology related tasks associated with documentation, research, software, systems, network and security, trouble shooting and technical assistance to Legislative Assembly employees and, in some cases, other end users including MLA’s and caucus offices across the province.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Applicants must be/have:

- Enrolled or completing a post-secondary degree or technical diploma in the information technology domain.
- Experience in a customer service role.
