Michels Canada headquarters is based in Nisku, Alberta, Canada.

The Business Systems Support Analyst (BSSA) will be responsible for providing technical solutions delivery for one or more business units within Michels Canada. The BSSA will help guide the business by improving processes and services through data analysis and will be the lead on digital or cloud based system integration and/or implementation. This position will be based out of our Canadian Head Office located in Nisku, AB.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Stop work in the area of an identified health or safety problem until resolved.
- Act as the internal expert of processes and solutions within assigned functional business departments/divisions and recommends areas for process improvement.
- Work collaboratively with IT project managers on large projects while prioritizing based on biggest impacts to the business.
- Take ownership of the projects, maintain a high level of interaction with end users to communicate status updates and deadlines.
- Configure purchased solutions to expand the capability of the solution.
- Lead review of project status logs with assigned functional business department/division.
- Interact with solutions vendors and consultants and assist with prioritization of work requiring vendor of consultant involvement.
- Other duties as required.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in related field with 2+ years’ of related and/or operational experience, or equivalent combination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio and Project
- Competent with reporting: SQL, Crystal, Dashboards, Pivot charts
- Must possess a valid drivers license for the types of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record.
- Must have valid Canadian Passport with the ability to travel out of country if required.

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience building process flow maps and other diagrams representing process is strongly desired.
- Experience within within corporate financial systems analysis is an asset
- Additional training or post-secondary coursework in project management is an asset.

LANGUAGES
- Must be able to communicate verbally and through written language (by hand and digitally) in English.
