Technology Asset Analyst
1 Full-time, Permanent Position
Is This Role for You?
The Technology Asset Analyst will report to the Director, Technology Enablement and is responsible for supporting the management and coordinator of IT assets at all stages of the asset lifecycles. The scope of work includes execution of effective asset management procedures, integration and curation of data from multiple asset tracking tools, and lifecycle tracking of installed systems including planned disposition.
This analyst role will also be responsible for supporting other technology related work including tracking of maintenance, repair and costs associated the rotating assets, and planning the optimal replacement assets and components. This position will work collaboratively with and supporting the cross functionality of all Edmonton Airport business units.

Day in The Life
You might be wondering what you can expect in a typical day at work. Every day will bring new opportunities, focusing on key responsibilities, including:

- Oversee and conduct the technology-related asset tracking activities, tracking expenses against support budget, cost and benefit management of various hardware, software and/or data set acquisitions through the use of formal procurement, asset tracking and lifecycle management practices.
- Develop and maintain inventories across various stakeholders and systems, to ensure an up-to-date, accurate record of all information technology assets.
- Optimization of asset use and re-use; Ensures alignment of asset inventories within service desk, asset management systems, configuration management systems, security management systems and financial management systems.
- Identify assets that are critical in providing service capability
- Issue work orders and maintenance activities to maximize asset reliability and availability to support business needs.
- Manage assets from procurement to disposal.
- Regularly review the overall asset base to suggest ways to optimize value in alignment with business needs.
- Manage software licenses to maintain the optimal number of licenses and support business requirements.

**You Have**:
Education
- Certificate or Diploma in Technology related program
- Computer Support Technician and/or IAITAM Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP) cer
