Restaurant Support

The Restaurant Support is a key role within the Front of House Team. They are a direct support to the Servers and Chefs and assist by running food, clearing tables and assisting with a variety of other tasks to ensure luxury guest experience. This role is ideal for an individual that is eager to learn and committed to playing a part in our guest’s positive hospitality experience.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Remain alert and conscientious to our guests and their needs and work to accommodate any requests to ensure a luxury experience.
- Take direction from the dining room and kitchen teams and aid them in setting up the bread station, the kitchen pass and other areas.
- Prepare dining room for service by setting tables, condiments, candles, napkins, side plates, glassware, and utensils.
- Understand the composition of each menu item as well as the ingredients and allergens present in each dish.
- Assist servers with table maintenance by removing courses when completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses, resetting tables as required.
- Be aware of food items that may be running low. Run food from the kitchen and replenish dishes as needed.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency while remaining poised during peak periods and seek out additional tasks during slower periods, such as polishing cutlery or glassware, assembling items necessary for reset, etc.
- Communicate and be an example of Pearle's core values by demonstrating genuine and thoughtful hospitality in the day-to-day execution of duties.
- Embody a great service culture and create a high level of service standards and excellence

- Restaurant or customer service experience is considered an asset
- Ability to work weekends and nights
- Take direction and instruction well
- Willingly accept additional tasks as required for the effective functioning of the work unit.
- **Communication**: Listen attentively to guest's questions and requests. Effectively share information about guest requests with the Restaurant Manager or Servers
- **Organization**: Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as necessary.
- **Personable**: Professional appearance, positive and proactive attitude, and exhibits genuine and thoughtful hospitality in all interactions.

Pay: From $16.55 per hour
