Humber’s Faculty of Media and Creative Arts offers the most comprehensive mix of media, arts and communications programs in Canada. We specialize in storytelling of all forms: journalism and writing; film, acting and television; advertising and public relations; interaction design and animation; music and fine arts. **_Salary:_**_ _Band 6 ($18.44- $28.38)

**What you will do**:
This position provides excellence in front line social media and communications support to the Faculty of Media & Creative Arts. Duties include but are not limited to:

- Collaborating with Faculty Administration to prepare and execute social media plans and campaigns that support the Faculty’s marketing, recruitment and retention strategies
- Developing, curating and posting social media content in accordance with College brand and social media guidelines
- Gathering, organizing, and maintaining a digital archive of Faculty media assets

**What you bring to the role**:
**Education**
- A college or university diploma in public relations, communications, journalism or related field

**Experience**
- 2 years of experience monitoring and working with branded social media

**Key Skills**
- Monitors online conversations involving the Faculty and its programs and flags potential brand/reputational risks for appropriate follow up
- Creates and executes social media campaigns to raise awareness of Faculty programs and events, and engages a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Measures the results of online engagement to prepare campaign status reports
- Proactively builds relationships with faculty and students to support ongoing development of engaging program-specific social media channels
- Supports the Manager of Marketing & Communications in the creation of digital content that supports Humber’s reputation as a leading institution for arts, media, design and communications training
