This position calls for a mix of creativity, innovation, and sharp organizational skills to amp up our social media presence. You'll be in charge of creating and rolling out engaging content, flexing your social-savvy copywriting muscles, bringing your video creation and editing expertise to the table, and staying in the loop with the latest trends.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Be the ambassador for our brands with positivity, passion, and excitement.
- Interact with our audience and customers in a professional, friendly and timely manner to grow and keep the community engaged.
- Anticipate potential problems that may negatively affect brand reputation.
- Create, track, and manage social media requests, ensuring tasks are organized and executed within set timelines.
- Develop captivating organic and paid content for multiple brands and platforms, including but not limited to posts, videos, stories, and paid ads aligning with brand voice and marketing objectives.
- Craft persuasive and engaging copy for captions, posts, and ad campaigns, maintaining consistency and resonance with the target audience.
- Write informative and engaging blog content that demonstrates industry expertise and addresses relevant topics.
- Utilize social media management systems to schedule and publish social media content, ensuring optimal timing and frequency for maximum audience engagement.
- Actively engage with followers and the community on TikTok, fostering meaningful interactions and brand loyalty.
- Create and optimize blog posts in WordPress to enhance search engine visibility and increase organic traffic.
- Set up paid ads, ensuring accurate targeting, budget allocation, and tracking.
- Keep a pulse on industry trends and social media developments, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stay ahead of the curve.
- Conduct thorough research to gather relevant information for content creation, ensuring accuracy and credibility.
- Assist in coordinating influencer and affiliate programs, fostering valuable partnerships to amplify brand reach.
- Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager to execute strategies, initiatives, and campaigns effectively.
- Provide support and assistance to the Social Media Manager on various tasks as required to meet departmental goals.
- Support on other marketing, digital, and communications initiatives as needed.

**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred in a relevant field such as marketing, communications, or digital media.
- Certifications in areas such as social media marketing, digital marketing, or related fields are highly valued.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Proficiency in social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, X, YouTube, Pinterest.
- Proven experience in social media, content creation, and copywriting.
- Experience with social media management platforms (Hootsuite), content management systems (WordPress), Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with paid social, data analytics, and social media metrics is a plus.
- Knowledge of Jira and ad management tools is advantageous.
- French is an asset.

**Experience**
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in social media.
- Travel industry experience preferred.
