GENERAL SUMMARY
Aider la direction à superviser le tri quotidien, les activités de livraison et de ramassage et les opérations de succursale à domicile/vols régionaux (s’il y a lieu). Diriger le secteur en veillant à ce que les pratiques exemplaires et les opérations efficaces soient efficaces et donner l’exemple aux employés horaires en devenant un mentor et en démontrant un comportement exemplaire, y compris une forte capacité de communication, de résolution de conflits et de leadership (au moyen de méthodes exemplaires).

Educational Requirements

High school diploma/equivalent

Related Experience Requirements

Minimum number of years required for entry to this job

2 years current courier experience

Other specific mandatory experience requirements - (preferred)

Personal Development Stream of Excel

Technical Skill Requirements

Solid knowledge of the following:
Must possess a valid drivers licence and have a good driving record.

Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training (including DG specialist certification). Must maintain accreditation through yearly recurrency training prior to expiration.

Remains current with training in BP and defensive driver / process updates.

Good understanding of FedEx products, features of service, general operations.

Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.

Some knowledge of Federal Express operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset.

Solid communications/ interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate/ coach and train employees on the job.

Ability to prioritize and delegate in a time-sensitive manner.

Interpersonal Skill Requirements

Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, customer relations and communication skills.

Good analytical, problem solving, prioritization and organization skills

Team player

Deux ans d’expérience comme messager.

Exigences techniques

Solide connaissance de ce qui suit:
Permis de conduire en règle et bon dossier de conduite.

Réussir la formation de base et la formation périodique (y compris l’obtention et le maintien d’un certificat de marchandises dangereuses). Conserver son accréditation par des formations périodiques avant la date d’expiration.

Rester à jour dans sa formation en matière de meilleures pratiques et de conduite défensive.

Bien comprendre les services de FedEx, leurs modalités et le fonctionnement général de l’entreprise.

Pouvoir soulever des charges de 70 lb et de manoeuvrer, avec l’aide d’un appareil approprié, des colis pesant jusqu’à 150 lb.

Une certaine connaissance des activités de Federal Express et de la réglementation douanière canadienne constitue un atout.

Solide maîtrise des communications et des relations interpersonnelles et capacité de motiver, d’encadrer et de former les employés au travail.

Capacité d’établir des priorités et de déléguer des responsabilités dans des délais serrés.

Relations interpersonnelles

Excellente maîtrise des relations interpersonnelles, des relations avec la clientèle et de la communication.

Bien maîtriser l’analyse, la résolution de problèmes, l’organisation et l’établissement de priorités.
