**This internship opportunity has a targeted duration of 4 months, beginning in May 2023.**

**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to**:

- Support the delivery of Supply Chain services to internal business areas.
- Assists in conducting source selections, negotiates and documents purchase contracts and agreements within procurement commitment authority.
- Assists with gathering performance data to monitor supplier capability, capacity and business health. Works with team members to monitor supplier performance to contract and supports supplier performance reviews.
- Develop and coordinate cross-functional project plans and critical paths by utilizing various planning tools (Stratum, Prism, Excel, and attend periodic team meetings) in order to ensure timely implementation of Supply Chain initiatives
- Seeks opportunities for different and innovative approaches to addressing problems and opportunities; participates in root cause analysis and development of improvement plans and monitoring progress.
- Maintains relationships and communications with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
- Deal with problems with varying complexity and make decisions and recommendations, guided by policies and procedures.
- Develop communication protocol using input from stakeholders, Senior management and project teams in order to ensure clear understanding of project scope, objectives, performance, and changes.
- Acquire a broad understanding and awareness of related SCM competencies.

**Qualifications**:

- Pursuing Bachelor’s degrees in Business Commerce with a specialization in Supply Chain Management.
- Demonstrated high level of academic performance.
- Robust communication, teamwork and analytical skills.
- Strong work ethic with internal drive to succeed
- Previous oil and gas related internship experience is an asset.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

**Relocation Options**:
Relocation within Canada** may be considered** within Chevron parameters.

**International Considerations**:
Expatriate assignments **will not be** considered.
