Gloucester, Canada Foundations Bookkeeping Full time

**Job overview**:

- We are seeking for a bookkeeper with experience and has familiarity with the general principles of accounting help us provide full bookkeeping cycle to our clients. This position is part time with flexible at the moment but open to full time. This is not a remote position

**Responsibilities**

The responsibilities of the Bookkeeper will include but not be limited to the following:

- Prepare accounting records by compiling and analyzing account information
- Reconcile company's financial records to help ensure accuracy of financial statements
- Providing full payroll management to clients
- Data entry
- The ability to use various financial transactions such as accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Post financial transactions to accounts and prepare financial statements
- Providing administrative support for upper management
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
- The ability to work on multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines
- Following all company processes and procedures

**Qualifications and Skill sets**
- Degree in accounting, business, or a related field is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of QuickBooks, Sage; experience with other tax preparation and accounting software
- A strong understanding of math and numbers
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
