**Responsibilities**
- Interpret the rules of professional conduct and ethics standards for professional accountants, including independence and conflicts of interest requirements
- Provide advice on, and support team members with, the adoption and implementation of practical solutions to ethical matters including independence and conflicts of interest
- Promote the importance of ethics to partners and other MNP team members across the Firm, and play an important role in driving compliance initiatives
- Deliver expertise in the Canadian CPA Rules of Professional Conduct, Codes of Professional Conduct and Code of Ethics, as well as Firm policies, through the creation of high-quality thought leadership and presentations
- Support the development and maintenance of the Firm’s policies and guidelines
- Assist in the development and facilitation of rules of professional conduct and ethics-related training in MNP’s in-house education programs
- Maintain discretion, recognizing, protecting, and adhering to absolute confidentiality of highly sensitive information
- Stay up-to-date with changes in the profession through research and by attending relevant events and training/information sessions
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
- Liaise and correspond professionally with team members across the Firm
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure delivery of resources that are complete, accurate and timely
- Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses, and industry
- Contribute to the development of new ideas, education, and approaches to improve work processes, including assisting in the identification, development and implementation of technology solutions

**Skills and Experience**
- Québec French Proficiency (written and oral) preferred
- Completion of a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or similar designation
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience, post designation
- Pragmatic approach to problem-solving, with a reputation for high quality standards
- Collaborative and proactive
- Proven written and oral communication and project management skills
- Any of the following are considered an asset:

- Knowledge of the International Ethics Standards Board’s (IESBA) International Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants
- Knowledge of the American Institute of CPAs’ (AICPA) Code of Professional Conduct
- Knowledge of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board’s (PCAOB) Ethics & Independence Rules and the Securities Exchange Commission’s Auditor Independence Rules
