- Reporting to the Director, IT Operations and a part of the IT Operations leadership team, the Manager, Client Services delivers high quality, consistent IT service and support functions in a way that prioritizes the experience of students, faculty and administrative employees. This role will have the opportunity to influence and drive lasting efforts in the University’s digital transformation, with significant student and employee impact through the continued adoption of IT service management best practices. In close alignment with university wide strategy, critical components of this position include the provision of tier one and two technology support to students and employees; development and implementation of IT service management process roadmaps and the IT service catalogue; and the annual delivery of the hardware lifecycle Evergreen project. The role requires a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships across the university and externally with vendors and sector colleagues.**What you’ll bring**
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience, with 3 years in a leadership role with direct responsibility for managing IT client service delivery, preferably in a unionized environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with the ITIL framework and best practices; ITIL certification is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and improving IT service management processes.
- Completion of a criminal record check.
