We're based in Edmonton, AB, doing our thing as an independent, locally-owned cannabis producer. We're all about innovation and making top-notch products.

We're hunting for enthusiastic folks currently hitting the books to join our Cannabis Processing internship program. It's not just about getting a foot in the door; it's a chance for hands-on learning, flexible schedules, and teaming up with some pretty sharp minds in the cannabis industry.

**As a Cannabis Processing Intern, you will have the chance to**:

- Gain practical experience in various aspects of production, including trimming, manufacturing, packaging, and labeling high-quality cannabis products.
- Develop a strong understanding of Standard Operating Procedures and their role in ensuring compliance with cannabis regulations, laws, and facility standards.
- Contribute to the maintenance and calibration of production and sanitation equipment, playing a part in the seamless flow of operations.
- Safely handle concentrated materials and maintain a secure work environment.
- Uphold exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards by actively participating in the cleaning and sanitization of production equipment, tools, and workstations.
- Keep precise records and documentation of your production activities, contributing to accuracy and accountability.

**Requirements for this Internship**:

- Currently studying and able to provide proof of enrollment.
- Reside locally in the Edmonton area
- Capability to engage in physical activities throughout your internship, including standing, walking, equipment movement, and more.
- Comfortably lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. (22kg).
- Be at ease with actions such as squatting, bending, and kneeling, crucial for various tasks.
- Willingness to wear necessary personal protective equipment, including sanitary clothing covers, gloves, masks, respirators, and eye protection.
- Full vaccination against Covid-19 before entering our facility.

**Experience Level**:
No need for a laundry list of experience. We're more into your eagerness to learn and bring some positive vibes to the team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
