International Recruitment Liaison

**NOTE: This position is limited to current NAIT staff.**
Reporting to the International Recruitment Coordinator, this position provides coordination and support to the international recruitment specialists, and NAIT articulation agreements authorized agents (ARs). This position will be responsible for the liaising between NAIT programs, admissions and external institutions, to support recruitment initiatives such as articulation agreements or presentations for agents. They will also provide information management and project-based support to the international recruitment team, conducting research, improving processes and communications, planning, and implementing various initiatives. Finally, they will support the international recruitment specialists to maintain up-to-date information in the Agent portal and prepare updates to NAIT and external partners (including but not limited to websites, databases and contracts).
**Key Responsibilities**:
Agent Administration & Coordination
- Acts as an internal SME on processes and program availability and a main point of contact for the Authorized Agents
- Agent logistics management, including but not limited to agent agreements, vetting of new agents, commission payments, target tracking
- Maintain and update the database of agent information
- Prepare regular updates for agents
- Coordinate the logistics of on-boarding and on-going training for agents in conjunction with recruitment specialists
- Maintain agent portal and training website to ensure up-to-date information
- Liaise with recruitment specialists, assistant, and coordinator to support with agent-related initiatives, as required.
- Support payment process when Assistant is not available.
Information Management Support
- Conduct environmental scans and research to inform new articulation partners for NAIT and identify changes in processes and communications for existing partnerships.
- Regularly monitor and conduct outreach to external partners who have agreements with NAIT - ensuring information is updated and accurate.
- Liaise with Admissions to stay current on admissions processes and communications to internal and external partners and stakeholders
- Create and execute social media strategies to build brand awareness, promote recruitment events and initiatives, and generate leads
- Provide content management support for prospective student inquiries to NAIT’s chatbot - Collaborate with various stakeholders across the institution to plan and implement international articulation agreements and other projects and initiatives (i.e.: signing on with ILAC as a pathway for students to come to NAIT).
- Maintain close contact with the international recruitment coordinator to ensure alignment of new initiatives and strategies
- Lead, coordinate, or support other projects as needed to support international recruitment objectives
- Support research activities for team initiatives
- Additional duties as assigned by manager to the position.
**Skills & Abilities**:
- Strong International competencies

- Critical thinking, problem solving and Organizational skills.
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evening on occasions.
**Qualifications**:
- Related post-secondary diploma.
- Post Secondary Degree would be an asset.
- Considerable related experience (three to five years)
- Experience working with an international focus (education, business, recruitment) required.
- Experience with informal supervision would be an asset. A background working with international agents and/or articulation agreements (tourism, immigration, education).
- Informal supervisory skills an asset
- Fluency in additional languages an asset
- A combination of education and relevant experience can be considered.
**Remuneration**: $48,257.04 - $62,451.48 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification - Administrative Support V).
- This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement._
