Position Overview:
**Job Description**:
Major Job Functions:

- Responsible for supporting internal Finning branch teams completing large mining truck scopes.
- Liaison with Finning Parts Department on constrained parts, warranty concerns, and sourcing requests.
- Improve repair efficiency and quality through development of technical documentation.
- Support technician development on quality, contamination control, and technical capabilities.
- Support warranty documentation for service operations teams.
- Assist with root cause analysis and troubleshooting of large mining truck systems
- Must develop and maintain open lines of communication with all supportive departments

Knowledge:

- Caterpillar equipment knowledge
- Mining background
- Mechanical aptitude

**Experience**:

- Seasoned HET or have significant mechanical experience
- Minimum 7 years experience working with Caterpillar Large Mining Trucks

Accountability:

- Ensure analysis and maintenance/repair recommendations are provided to appropriate groups in a timely manner
- Provide solutions in a timely manner
- Recommendation of safety solutions
- Rapid escalation to the appropriate individuals and/ or groups of any machine risks
- Accountable for building technical documentation
- Improve build and repair quality statistics
- Review scopes of work to ensure clarity of work and technical documentation is available.
