Maple Leaf Construction Ltd. is currently searching for a

**Safety Coordinator**

Under the supervision of the Safety Manager, the Safety Coordinator will provide safety administrative support as well as field work as required.

**As a safety coordinator your duties will include**:

- Update and maintain safety documents and training data
- Perform New Hire orientations
- Track, maintain, and file subcontractor agreements
- Assist in the creation of training programs
- Update SDS
- Assist in maintaining COR certification
- Maintain prequalification sites such as ISNet
- Site inspections
- Other safety related tasks as required.

**Your experience includes**:

- Safety administrative experience
- Excellent computer skills including previous experience with Microsoft excel and Microsoft Office 365 products.
- Heavy construction or trades experience is an asset

**Requirements**:

- Must have a valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License and use of a reliable vehicle to use for work
- Health and safety certification (NCSO, OHS, CRSP, etc.) or equivalent experience
- Effective at time management, including punctuality
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as a strong team member
- Challenged by, and thrives in, an ever-changing and demanding workload and work pace

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
