Bridge to Communication has partnered with One Care Therapy to provide speech and language services to families in the Durham region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide intervention to children with a variety of speech & language delay and disorders (receptive & expressive language, articulation, phonology, and flueunder the supervision of a speech-language pathologist
- Maintain records in accordance with the rules and regulations of College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)

Qualifications:

- Graduate certificate in Communicative Disorders Assistant
- Member of Communicative Disorders Assistant Association of Canada (CDAAC)
- Experience and interest in working with autistic population
- Understand and support neurodiversity affirming practices and Natural Language Acquisition
- Experience using play-based therapy with infants and preschool children
- Knowledge of evidence-based approaches to treatment
- Must be self-motivated, organized and have strong written and oral skills
- Proficiency in other languages an asset
- Have professional liability insurance
