**POSITION AVAILABLE: NIGHT AUDITOR - FULL TIME**

**REPORTS TO**:GUEST SERVICES MANAGER**

**SUMMARY**:
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team. If you are a friendly, motivated individual who has a passion for customer service and contributing to a positive work environment, we would like to hear from you.

The Night Auditor will be the face of the hotel and will be required to provide guests with exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone. You are the ambassador of the hotel during a guest’s stay which means offering a warm welcome when they arrive, providing information about the local area, informing guests of hotel amenities and any important details they will need throughout their stay. You will assist guests by answering any inquiries and requests they may have which includes resolving issues and recording complaints.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Run audit reports and journals from Property Management System.
- Ensure that all transactions and payments are posted and entered accurately.
- Demonstrate a positive and proactive attitude and be committed to providing exceptional guest care through use of initiative and empowered decision making.
- Answer phones and accurately enter reservations on Property Management System.
- Ensure that guest arrival/departure is carried out in a friendly and professional manner with all cash and credit transactions being handled in accordance with company policy.
- Performs credit card verifications; when declined contacts guest for alternative payment arrangements.
- Operates the front office computer system, posts all guests charges and payments, incurred during the shift and balance shift totals by department to backup documents.
- Issues and controls safety deposit boxes to guests in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Assists with room reservations and switchboard operation when necessary.
- Reports to supervisors any guest complaints or security issues.
- Ensures guest satisfaction.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis; this job requires applicant to be able to work night shifts 11pm to 7am.
- Other Tasks may be assigned

**REQUIRMENTS**:

- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Hotel Front Desk role is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel PMS systems/ Hilton PEP is preferred
- Weekend availability and flexible working hours
- Strong analytical abilities, detail oriented and able to multitask
- High school or college diploma in Hospitality or Tourism an asset
- Advanced knowledge of Excel & Microsoft Office
