Administrative/payroll Assistant

**Background**:
Oakdale Drywall is a family-run construction company dealing in interior finishing. We are looking for a capable payroll administrative assistant with excellent people skills, and a professional demeanour.
The employee will be expected to work efficiently, prioritise tasks and meet demands. They will also maintain and organise general administrative work, assist other departments with work overflow and perform their regular duties.
**General responsibilities**:
- Answering phones
- Greeting clients
- Organising mail
- Filing documents
- Meeting administration demands
- Data entry and maintaining spreadsheets
- Assisting the Administrator: A/P entry and invoice sorting
- Assisting the Payroll Manager: entering payroll hours and printing paycheques.
**Skills/Requirements**:
- People skills
- 1-2 years experience in an office setting would be an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Experience with Sage 300 would be an asset.
**Job Types**: Permanent, Part-time
Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
