Alpharay Consulting, a prominent entity in the technology consulting sector, seeks a multifaceted Building Systems Specialist with RCDD certification and extensive knowledge in security systems, access control, and audio-visual (AV) systems design. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, manage, and oversee the installation of telecommunications, data communication, security systems, access control, and AV systems in various building projects.
- Ensure all designs and installations comply with BICSI standards, building codes, security, and AV industry regulations.
- Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, IT, and AV teams to integrate communication, security, and AV systems effectively in building designs.
- Perform thorough site evaluations, prepare comprehensive design documentation, and produce detailed system schematics.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring efficient and cost-effective project completion.
- Provide expert technical support during installation, including troubleshooting and optimizing system performance for communication, security, and AV systems.
- Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks and system testing across all systems.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in telecommunications, security, access control, and AV systems.
- Train and guide team members in the design and implementation of integrated building systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, or a related field.
- Current RCDD certification; additional certifications in security systems (e.g., CPP, PSP) and AV systems design (e.g., CTS-D) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of telecommunications, security systems, access control, and AV systems.
- Profound knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optics, wireless communication, CCTV, intrusion detection, access control, and modern AV technologies.
- Skilled in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
- Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and innovation.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with smart building technologies, IoT, network security, and integrated system design.
- Familiarity with sustainable, energy-efficient practices and the latest industry advancements in building systems.

**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Casual

**Salary**: $25.78-$55.00 per hour
