**Some of the Responsibilities You May Have**:
- Providing a reliable and efficient service to technical staff, facilitating efficient report delivery, and ensuring data quality.
- Interaction with analytical laboratories and project team staff.
- Responsible for entering field and laboratory analytical chemistry data into our central data management system, making project information and data easily accessible to project teams.
- Updating and maintaining our environmental database and ensuring that QA/QC procedures are followed.
- Developing pragmatic and robust environmental data management policies and procedures, in conjunction with appropriate Environment and Water Practice staff.
- Supporting export of data from our data management software (ESDat).
- Producing graphical and numerical output from Excel and the data management software (ESDat).l output from Excel and the data management software (ESDat).
- Bachelors Degree or Technical diploma in Computer Science or Earth or Environmental Sciences.
- Experience working with chemistry, environmental and/or analytical data, would be considered an asset.
- Must be highly organized, with a detail-oriented nature and proven time management abilities.
- A personable individual who can interact and build strong relationships.
- A team player who welcomes a role supporting internal clients and working with them to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Experience using Excel, EQuIS, ESDat, and/or similar data management packages, would be considered an asset.
- Experience with laboratory chemistry data codes and processes.
- Understanding of spatial data reference systems, and the use of GPS.
- Knowledge of field sample collection protocols for groundwater and soils.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
