**How you will contribute as part of the TRCA team**:

- Post and maintain control over unapproved invoices.
- Create vendor profile in accounting software for new vendors and maintain existing vendor information, ensure validity of billing vendor information including confirmation of valid HST registration number with online CRA site.
- Create payment requisition for invoices from purchase order.
- Ensure supplier invoices are scanned in PDF format and filed in electronic folders.
- Route invoices for coding and/or approval
- Receive approved invoices and verify authorization.
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control on all general ledger codes
- Match vendor payment vouchers with electronic source documents
- Save accounting software generated cheque images to electronic network folder.
- Process petty cash claims from locations (approx. 6 per year), review appropriateness account of codes and that all authorizations are in place.
- Process utility billings for all locations (approx. 22 locations), review bills, code and submit for approval.

**What will you need to succeed**:
Education (degree/diploma/certifications)
- 2-3-year Post Secondary in Business or Commerce

Experience
- 1-2 years of experience

Knowledge/Skill/Ability
- Knowledge of financial systems, management controls, processes and tools
- Compliance with internal and external regulations regarding transactional services
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Compliance with regulations regarding transactional services
- Proven time management skills
- Computer literacy
