**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Advisor, Employee Services, the People Services Assistant - Student will be responsible for supporting the business units in meeting day to day requirements. The People Services Assistant will provide assistance and project support to all business units of the department as required.

**Responsibilities**:

- include, but are not limited to:
- Tracking of employee information.
- Reconciliation of employee information.
- Set up of new employee information in Payroll System.
- Perform data entry of employee payroll information.
- Assist with recruiting, including scheduling interviews and verifying references.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees.
- Assist with Recruitment projects such as creating employee handbooks and updating job descriptions.
- Perform data entry and filing of all HR related documents.
- Update and maintenance of forms and templates.
- Assist with scheduling of employee training sessions as required.
- Tracking of employee information related to Health & Safety records.
- Participate in providing general HR support such as researching and responding to employee inquiries.
- Responsible for filing within the People Services Department.

**Qualifications**:
Hours of Work: 37.5 per week; Monday to Friday

Duration: April 29, 2024 to August 31, 2024
