Job Summary:

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Home Living team to provide professional support services in the homes of clients of all ages and stages of life. The LPN will provide safe and effective nursing care according to AHS policies and nursing care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe, monitor, report, and document changes in the client's physical, mental, and emotional state.
  • Assist the client with activities of daily living.
  • Provide the client and family with relevant information and teaching.
  • Collaborate as a member of the healthcare team, delivering consistent quality care, to meet the needs of the client.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as an LPN.
  • Experience in Continuing Care.
  • Palliative care experience.
  • Experience with Meditech and Connect Care.
