**Summary**

Responsible and accountable to travel to customer sites to install, service and repair food processing machinery. Use deep technical knowledge to assist with and provide guidance in the testing of Handtmann technologies and to provide assistance on troubleshooting issues for complex customer installations.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

The essential duties and responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Travel to customer locations to install, service and repair food processing machinery.
- Supports customer satisfaction with effective maintenance and repair of food production equipment in the meat, bakery, dairy, poultry and seafood processing plants.
- Inspects equipment to detect or determine any issues or malfunctions.
- Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic control systems to provide technical support, installation of new equipment, preventative maintenance and on-site equipment repairs.
- Provide customer training on new equipment.
- Works as part of a collaborative team to support and share specialized technical expertise.
- Complete detailed service reports and applicable CRM maintenance.
- Manages spare parts inventory.
- Maintains customer equipment repair and maintenance records.
- Fosters and maintains excellent relations with customers.
- Must be willing to travel approximately 80% of the time. Large customer base within the GTA and surrounding area, but travel within all of Ontario is expected, with occasional out of province support as required.
- Must be willing to work weekends (approximately 1 to 2 per month) and after hours as required. This role is eligible for overtime.
