Evolve Recycling Inc. is currently recruiting for an **Accounts Payable Clerk** to join its Finance department. The Accounts Payable Clerk will report to the Director of Finance. The main responsibility will entail management of accounts payable and other administrative tasks.

Work from home 1 day per week will be supported.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage accounts payable invoices by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling (both direct and on Purchase Orders invoices)
- Completion of EFT and cheque run’s
- Preparation of month-end journal entries and reconciliations
- Researching and resolving accounts payable issues with vendors
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
- Filing and indexing all documents physically and electronically
- Back-up other functions as required

**Qualifications**:

- Understanding of accounting and general ledgers
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with Epicor
- Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post and correct invoices and discrepancies.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized and able to prioritize
- Team-player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $48,000.00 per year
