**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Facilities Cleaner keeps the Agency facilities clean and in orderly condition, including:

- Cleaning floors
- Cleaning and stocking restrooms
- Dusting
- Removing trash
- Performing routine maintenance activities
- Notifying leadership of the need for repairs
- Assists as needed with painting, mowing, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalks

Hours of work: Flexible, maximum of 30 hours per week.

Training: Initial comprehensive training related to all aspects of the role.

**COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS**

Hourly wage: starting at $19.47 plus shift premiums

**REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum grade 12
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in general maintenance
- Due to frequent travel between sites, must hold a valid driver’s license
- Work will include outdoor activities in cold and hot weather
- Exposure to cleaning supplies, gasoline, propane and other chemical substances
- Manual dexterity for tools, brushes, etc.
- Some heavy lifting, carrying and reaching of items such as landscaping equipment, furniture, etc.
- Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods throughout the shift
