**The Opportunity**:
We are recruiting a **MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN **(Eating Disorders Service)**
- **_There are two opportunities available:_**
- **_One regular full-time role (35 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm) based at 1 Blue Springs Dr. Waterloo._**:

- **_One regular full-time role (35 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm) based at 80 Waterloo Ave. Guelph._**

Team oriented and collaborative, you will provide recovery oriented support to children and adolescents presenting with eating disorders. This will include providing comprehensive mental health assessments within an interdisciplinary team model, consultation to community partners and the provision of evidenced based treatment individually and through group facilitation. This position reports to the Manager, DBT & Eating Disorders Services.

Qualifications:

- Masters level degree in social work, psychology, occupational therapy or relevant health or social science field
- Registration with relevant college/registering body
- 3 to 5 years’ experience within the health services sector with in-depth knowledge of complex clinical issues.
- Demonstrated experience working in a clinical capacity with individuals who have eating disorders (preferably within an Eating Disorders Program)
- Training and/or education specific to Eating Disorders treatment
- Knowledge of Family Based Treatment (FBT) or willingness to learn
- Experience in providing both individual and group therapy
- Experience managing high risk and crisis situations.
- Demonstrated understanding and sensitivity to social and cultural diversity
- Highly developed organizational, communication and problem solving skills
- The ability to work collaboratively in a self-directed work team
- Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook and various database software
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation as travel is required
