**Job description**:
The setup/operator is responsible to setup and operate CNC machines in order to run high and low production runs producing quality hydraulic and pneumatic components.
- **Responsibilities**:

- To behave in a manner in accordance with plant policies and procedures
- Inspect, verify material and dimensions of parts according to blueprints
- Report all issues in regards to tooling and setup to the supervisor
- Provide a clean, organized and safe workplace
- Measure parts using go-no-go gauges, micrometer, verniers to specs
- Basic knowledge of G-codes
- Read and interpret engineered drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
- Ability to set fixtures, load tool, touch offs and set offsets

Experience/Education/SkillsMust have a G license*
- Secondary education or equivalent
- Able to multitask in a high pace environment
- Minimum of 1 year previous CNC machine operating experience
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Fluent in English
- Experience with measuring equipment, tools and blueprint reading

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Machine Operator: 1 year (preferred)

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in blueprint reading
- Experience with CNC machines and programming
- Ability to use calipers for precision measurements
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour
