**Your Opportunity**

Ourâ¯Kitchener-Waterloo office s are looking for a 4- or 8-month **Co-op Student or Intern **â¯to join the Assurance team from January to April or August 2025. This role is designed to offer a comprehensive learning experience in the field of accounting, exposing the C o-op or I ntern to various aspects of financial reporting, analysis, compliance, and teamwork. The Co-op or Intern will own the following responsibilities:

- Efficiently utilize technical knowledge from courses to carry out work projects and assignmentsâ¯
- Prepare and complete working papers, financial information, and compilation engagements per regulatory standards
- Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements
- Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
- Collaborate with and support the Financial Reporting & Insights team.

**Your experience and education**
- You are currently working towards a degree focused in accounting with a long-term goal of becoming a CPA
- You have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
- You have proven leadership skills and can take initiative to seek understanding
- You display strong attention to detail, problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
