**Job Description**:
**Location: Toronto, ON**
The North Civil Senior Risk Analyst is responsible for the implementation of the DP’s project risk management of the contract.
The scope of work for the OL North Civil package includes construction of the civils works for the Ontario Line including:
- 3km tunnel with 2 underground stations
- 3km of elevated guideway with 3 elevated stations.
- 2 stations in the existing Go Corridor
- 2 viaducts over the Don Valley
The North Civil Senior Risk Analyst reports to the North Commercial Lead and OL DP Risk Manager.
In this full-time permanent role, you will be a champion of diversity & inclusion.
**Duties & Responsibilities include**:
- Implementation of the OL-North Civils risk management process as defined in the OL Risk Management Plan.
- Plan, organize and facilitate risk reviews.
- Maintain, update the North Civil risk register in Active Risk Manager System (ARM).
- Support in providing required information for performing QCRA/QSRA as established in the OL Risk Management Plan.
- Provide month-end reports as established and required.
- Engage with the OL risk management team for reporting, guidance, support, and sharing of the lessons learned.
- Engage with North Civil Contractor risk counterpart to ensure risk management activities are aligned with OL project requirements and capturing of risks transferred from North Civil Project Company to the Contracting Authority.
The Risk Specialist position title associated with the approved staffing plan is Senior Risk Analyst, South Civil if hired position title will be Senior Risk Analyst, South Civil.
**Qualifications**:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Engineering or Construction.
- 8+ year progressive construction experience with a minimum of 3+ years relevant construction risk experience,
- A general understanding of engineering and construction procedures, principles, and concepts. Familiarity with principles and terminology used for construction of metro (rail) projects is desirable.
- Experience working with teams and stakeholders in the development and delivery of large infrastructure projects. Ability to communicate across different technical disciplines (e.g. engineering, construction, testing & commissioning).
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Expert in Microsoft Office Apps.
- Working knowledge of Sword Active Risk Manager (ARM) or similar risk management software.
