In support of this acquisition "BP Canada", has an exciting career opportunity for a Accounts Payable Technician.

The accounts payable technician reports to the senior cost accountant and handles the processing of supplier invoices, from verification to payment reconciliation. They act as a resource person for suppliers and also provide support for various administrative tasks and end-of-month reconciliations.

**Tasks**
- Record supplier invoices in the ERP system after verification;
- Follow up on problematic invoices;
- Analyze the aging of accounts payable, identify errors, and make corrections;
- Verify and reconcile supplier statements;
- Generate various reports related to accounts payable;
- Prepare files and working documents related to supplier accounts for the year-end audit;
- Participate in the weekly payment process;
- Filing and other related administrative tasks.

**IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?** Requirements**
- Basic training in accounting;
- Experience in accounts payable or a similar administrative position;
- 2 to 3 years or more of experience;
- Knowledge of Excel software;
- Proficiency in French and English, both oral and written as you will be asked to collaborate with colleagues across Canada.
