We are currently seeking reliable and deadline-driven Materials Coordinator to add to our growing team.

**Responsibilities include (but not limited to)**:

- Maintain open lines of communication with Materials Manager, Supervisors, Team leaders, Material Handlers and employees.
- Inform Supervisor of the daily production status and of problems as they arise (production, quality or otherwise);
- Record information as required on Work Order and sign off. Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation per the Quality Management System.
- Interpret customer submitted production schedules that are used to develop shipping schedules for Mancor using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Excel or Access.
- Communicate with customers and production manager to resolve any schedule changes etc.
- Generate work orders from Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
- Maintain the filing system for customer purchase orders and inventory records.
- Participate in, and, audit cycle counts using information from the inventory system to determine root cause.
- Required to plan and execute yearend inventory activities (if required)
- Work with lead hands and shop floor employees to ensure cycle counting activities are taking place.
- Monitor and maintain sub-contract supplier schedules and delivery performance.
- Assist in the flow of materials from receiving to their respective production areas.
- Liaison with suppliers and production to coordinate efficient movement of materials.
- Negotiate and maintain freight contracts and schedules.
- Maintain all planning perimeters inside QAD system.
- Track and report weekly shipping performance and inventory accuracy.
- Work with data entry clerk as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum two years of material planning experience
- Post-Secondary education in Materials Management preferred
- PC Literacy - advanced level (spreadsheet or database software such as Excel, Access, QAD)
- QAD or similar MRP system experience an asset
- Enrolment in, or completion of the CPIM certification an asset
- Very organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Able to work independently on problem resolution.
- Committed to continuous improvement.
- Good attitude. Willing to learn.
- Strong communication skills.
