**About this Role**

The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting a wide variety of work within the Enterprise Project Management Office. This role is primarily responsible for managing and leading programs or projects according to strict deadlines, within scope and on budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of all stakeholders across enterprise in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will oversee quality control throughout its life cycle and adhere to the PM principles and practices. S/he is accountable to communicate project progress to team members, stakeholders, and executives with escalation notification as required. This role also participates in PM continuous improvement initiatives.

**What you’ll do**:
**_ Planning, Execution and Operationalization_**
- Plan, manage and successfully oversee the implementation of multiple projects in parallel.
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Participate and lead vendor requirements, request for proposals with the vendor management team as needed.
- Develop full-scale integrated project plans with milestones using appropriate tools.
- Work with resource managers to ensure effective estimation, tracking, and management of resource allocation.
- Determine and assess need for additional resources and/or consultants and coordinate the appropriate recruitments, if necessary, during project cycle.
- Closely monitor project financials, draft change requests, follow-up on issues and provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
- Support the business analyst in the elicitation of business requirements.
- Identify and assess risks, severity and impacts. Determine and implement risk strategies and communicate risks to client and stakeholders as appropriate.
- Track project milestones, critical paths, and deliverables.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Identify and manage project dependencies path.
- Monitor implementation efforts and transition issues to ensure that business risks are identified and solutions are recommended.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Work with business partners to define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
- Conduct post-project review to certify project success criteria have been met.
- Use best practices and tools for project execution and management.

**_Stakeholder Management and Communication_**
- Effectively set, communicate, and manage project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Build relationships with various stakeholders to manage and mitigate risks for the organization.
- Manage conflicts within the project team.
- Lead and manage project teams to effectively utilize strengths of team members.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, including understanding their points of views and needs while keeping strategic goals in mind and fostering a win/win relationship.

**_Consultation_**
- Assist other project managers with respect to project management principles and practices and project specific challenges.
- Support and assist the portfolio management and business analysis teams within EPMO.

- Experience in managing multiple projects at one time.
- Strong Business and or Application Development project experience.
- Understanding of IT environments / technologies.
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.
- Must be well versed in project management methodology, principles, and practices.
- Have proven ability to lead projects to appropriately guide project requirements, identify issues and risks and direct investigation and analysis of alternatives.
- Strong leadership ability to balance the strategic needs of the organization, while leading others to achieve goals.
- Ability to assess priority and severity of issues by understanding business objectives, costs and user needs as well as being able to weigh alternatives for resolution.
