CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a
**Project Manager - Energy and Power **to join our
**Generation & Energy Team **from
**St. Catharines, Ontario.**

YOUR IMPACT:
CHA provides a comprehensive approach to district energy and power and thermal generation systems. We ensure these critical systems are maintainable and operable with redundant, fail-safe backups. Our expertise encompasses gas turbines, steam turbines, reciprocating engines, gas plants, biomass plants, coal-fired boiler plants, chiller plants, high-voltage substation, and more. From the early stages of master planning and permitting through comprehensive detailed design, we partner with our clients to bring projects online fully and efficiently.

At CHA, the Project Manager - Energy and Power works diligently to complete projects within the scope, budget, and schedule. This key role is responsible for managing the overall client relationship including any technical, financial, or logístical issues that may arise. Our Project Managers are skilled collaborators who are experts at problem solving and adapting and staying calm under pressure.

The Project Manager - Energy and Power coordinates contracts with the clients and subcontractors, manages purchase orders, and oversees all other project related documents. The Project Manager - Energy and Power is responsible for all project financials and subcontractor payments, clearly communicates updates to the client, management, and project team, and attends monthly project review meetings with operations.

This professional develops project specific health and safety plan in coordination with health and safety manager and is responsible for verifying that projects meet required QA/QC compliance as determined by Quality Management Plan.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management or a related degree is required; Master’s Degree preferred
- PE or equivalent professional license preferred
- PMP certification or equivalent training/credentials required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience required; a minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience required
- Demonstrated experience with creating & managing project schedules to report on progress and direct pace of deliverables
- Proven ability to manage scope, budget, and schedule of technical tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
- Ability to direct a multi-disciplinary team to complete detailed engineering, permitting and prepare for construction
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively
- A self-starter who excels in a high-paced work environment and work well independently
- Ability to travel within the US on an as-required basis
