We are seeking **Mechanical & Electrical Estimating Student**s for our **Toronto District**, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for **4 month or 8 months starting January 6th, 2025.**
As a **Mechanical & Electrical Estimating Student** and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
**Responsibilities**:
- Understand and utilize PCL’s estimating manuals, systems and forms.
- Review quantity survey assignment with lead estimator or Chief Estimator.
- Gets the chance to perform assigned quantity survey and transfer quantities to the lead estimator.
- Provides quantities of major purchase items to purchasing department for pricing.
- Creates an impact by performing general subtrade solicitation duties and helping with bid document control.
- Has the opportunity to perform bid day assignments.
- Experiences visiting the job sites periodically.
- Develops relationships with subcontractors.
- Performs other duties as required.
