**Job Title**
Manager, Procedures & Regulatory Initiatives
**What is the opportunity?**
Lead the creation and maintenance of procedures and job aids to support day-to-day operational activities for Royal Trust employees. Act as regulatory point person on projects/initiatives that impact Royal Trust and as a bridge between the National Initiatives team and the Professional Practice Group (“PPG”) on regulatory projects. Responsible for oversight of regulatory/compliance control items and special projects as needed.
**What will you do?**
- Manages all procedural changes related to the administration of trusts, agencies and specialized trust services, in consultation with the relevant business group.
- Manages content of RBC Policy & Procedure Library (PPL) as it relates to procedures
- Manages content of the Procedures, Procedure Resources and relevant Forms & Checklists sections of RTnet
- Manages the identification and documentation of procedure requirements as a result of changes to:
- Organizational structure
- Compliance and legal requirements
- Business practices
- System changes
- Risk monitoring activities by the Compliance Group
- Oversees the communication of new and revised procedures,
- Creates and revises procedures to reflect changes in processes and organizational structure, including translation
- Manages the oversight of Regulatory / Compliance Controls items, including but not limited to (CDIC - Senior Officer Annual Reporting, FBAR, Business Continuity, Attestations - FATCA/CRS, Access Reviews, CDIC on behalf of Royal Trust)
**What do you need to succeed?**
**Must Have**
- Advanced knowledge of estate, trust and agency law and related taxation;
- Strong understanding of policy, administration procedures and RT systems;
- Excellent research and writing skills;
- Presentation skills;
- Experience in development and delivery of technical training materials;
- Willingness to participate in continued learning.
