**Community Living Tillsonburg is currently hiring a Permanent Full Time Employment Co-ordinator.**

**Who we are looking for**:
**We are seeking a Coordinator of Employment Services who would be responsible for program oversight for individuals with an intellectual disability as well as others struggling with barriers to employment. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who enjoys seeing the positive impact of their work within their community. Your attention to detail, including follow-up and documentation, supports your sound case management abilities. You are organized and results oriented, equally comfortable working independently and as part of a dynamic team and confident in a fast paced and adaptable work environment.**

**As an Employment Coordinator you will be responsible for**:
**Supervising a team of employment services staff. You’ll provide guidance, support, and oversight to ensure that employment services are delivered effectively and in accordance with legislative guidelines. Your leadership will inspire and empower staff as they assist individuals in achieving their employment goals.**

**Creating a positive work environment is a top priority for you. By modeling appropriate workplace behaviors and promoting teamwork, communication, and professional relationships, you will foster an inclusive atmosphere where everyone can thrive. Utilizing your employment counseling skills, you’ll enhance the self-esteem and confidence of the individuals you work with, helping them navigate their careers with assurance. You’ll also be there to actively listen and problem-solve, empowering each person to find effective solutions to any challenges they may encounter.**

**Building strong relationships with employers and the community will be key to your success. You will assist to promote and procure community employment opportunities for individuals. Through role modeling and development of staff you will lead staff in promoting principles of inclusion and natural supports, promote people to gain real employment and provide guidance and support to staff in the delivery of these services. You will develop relationships with new employers and maintain relationships with current employers and other stakeholders. Develop and maintain relationships with staff, families, individuals receiving support and other stakeholders.**

**Competencies/Abilities**:
**- Business knowledge and experience**

**- Develop and Execute Strategic Plans to Achieve Targets: Create and implement comprehensive business plans in alignment with not-for-profit objectives, ensuring the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) required by funders, including job placement targets and program outcomes. Provide strategic oversight to optimize service delivery, monitor progress, and adapt plans to ensure compliance with legislative / service management system guidelines and reporting requirements.**

**- Strong Supervision, leadership, and coaching skills to guide a staff team.**

**- You have both administrative & financial knowledge and experience**

**- You have the skills to assist people with barriers to employment to seek and maintain employment through a process of skill development, decision-making, and job search.**

**- Experience in job development and on the job coaching.**

**- You have working knowledge of various legislation, ie. Employment Standards Act, ODSP, Supported Employment Guidelines, Ontario Works, etc.**

**- Knowledge and analysis of the labour market and trends as it relates to employment placement and job development.**

**- You use counseling techniques to promote a positive, pro-active work environment that seeks to build self -esteem and confidence**

**- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills**

**- Excellent time management and organizational skills**
