**Position Information**:
Temporary until approximately July 1, 2024.

**Rotation/Shifts**:
Days, 8 hour shifts.

**Basic Requirements**:

- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as nursing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in medical device reprocessing or in a clinical environment;
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience;
- Experience planning, developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives;
- Experience working in a result-oriented environment, requiring a high degree of flexibility;
- Experience working with Accreditation Canada;
- Experience managing a large operational budget;
- Experience working with an instrument management system;
- Keen understanding of the Operating Room environment and the sterile field;
- Knowledge of the Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada (ORNAC) standards;
- Knowledge of logistics and inventory management best practices;
- Skilled at engaging and inspiring others toward a common vision;
- Skilled at assessing performance and identifying performance improvement opportunities;
- Ability to successfully lead others through change;
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Proven decision making ability;
- Ability to effectively operate computer, software, and peripheral equipment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Current certification in Medical Devices Reprocessing;
- Experience working in a unionized environment;
- Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
