Richmond, Canada LuckyBox Storage Full time

Luckybox Storage specializes in container related services, from container based self-storage facilities to on-site rental services. We also offers property, land, and building rental services. We operate out of Richmond, Edmonton and Calgary.

We are looking for an experienced accounting staff with both AR/AP as well as collection experience to work with difficult accounts for a maternity leave coverage (12-15 months).

**Job description**
- Review, enter and post invoice batches on a daily basis
- Post checks, wire and credit card payments
- Reconciling vendor and customer accounts and making follow-up calls to identify and solve any payment issues, research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Produce monthly reports and reconcile AR, AP and deposit accounts to the general ledger
- Prepare analysis of accounts and reconcile accounts transactions.
- Assisting internal and external members with inquiries on accounts.
- Assisting the Credit and Collections with various accounts receivable reports, credit reports, credit checks and projects.
- Distributing account statements to customers on a regular basis and send out monthly invoices.
- Maintain prepaid expense and timecard worksheet
- Time card processing
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Assist with general filing
- Ordering of office supplies and maintain tidiness of the office
- Scan documents for archiving and/or forward them to staff and customers and filing of documents
- Prepare and arrange for all outgoing mail via courier, regular post, pick up or delivery
- Ensure all files are organized and maintained and all office processes are streamlined for most efficient and effective operation.
- Achieving assigned monthly, quarterly and yearly goals and objectives.
- Assist with month end and year end closing
- Other task as assigned

**Education and Experience**
- Accounting experience
- Collection experience a plus
- Highly organized with exceptional multitasking skills
- Skilled and experienced with Microsoft Office
- Able to speak on the phone in a professional manner
- Extremely resourceful and able to work well with mínimal supervision
- Demonstrate maturity and be able to act with discretion and superior judgment
- Must be a team player and able to build harmonious relationships
- Enthusiastic, outgoing and positive attitude
- Problem solving abilities and Proven Initiative.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Overtime as needed to meet month end and year end deadlines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12-15 months
