**Position Summary**

The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of Vega Education Group, ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of office and campus activities. This role involves managing facilities, coordinating events, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. Reporting to the CEO of Vega Education Group, the Operations Manager will play a critical role in supporting the overall mission and goals of the organization by ensuring that all operational aspects align with and support the educational objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily office and campus operations, addressing and resolving emerging issues, and fostering collaborative working relationships.
- Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and security of campus facilities.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Lead initiatives and projects within operations and with cross-functional teams.
- Plan and execute maintenance and capital projects, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor expenditures, ensure adherence to budgets, and complete projects within designated timeframes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and departmental integration.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize operations.
- Conduct regular audits of operations to identify and implement necessary changes.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operations.
- Foster a work environment that promotes knowledge, respect, and development of skills to engage with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of recent and relevant experience in operations, working in a cross-functional environment, ensuring effective stakeholder management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in vendor/relationship management, educational industry is preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge and skills in building operations, maintenance, accessibility, and health and safety regulations.
- Customer service-oriented approach with excellent communication, planning, organizational, time management, and budget management skills.
- Exceptional flexibility, diplomacy, and sound judgment, with the ability to manage crisis situations effectively while maintaining composure and motivating others toward resolution.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, enabling effective management of workload, conflicting priorities, and multiple tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation are required.
- A positive, enthusiastic can-do attitude with a genuine interest in working with students, coupled with a commitment to understanding and meeting their diverse needs.
- Innate ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with students, faculty, and colleagues at all levels, building rapport and establishing productive working relationships.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in operations management.
- This position may require occasional evening and weekend work.
