**Department Overview**
- The Corporate Transformation and Operations group (CTO) is establishing integrated shared services across Customer, Community and Corporate (CCC), Finance, HR, and Risk. The strategic objectives of the CTO are to leverage the best of our capabilities, enhance operational alignment, create greater capacity and focus, and unlock new and exciting career paths for our colleagues.**Team Overview**
Corporate Platforms Strategy - Finance & Risk Delivery Solutions team is accountable for leading the strategic service that will connect the business strategy with the technology roadmap and ensure alignment to overall business, technology, and data objectives. As the CTO function evolves, the Corporate Platforms Strategy team continues to expand its service offering to better meet the needs of its various corporate stakeholders. Individuals in this team act as business owners and leads, liaising and developing strong relationships with the business lines, corporate functions and technology partners. The team's focus is to ensure business objectives and capabilities for corporate functions are enabled through delivery of comprehensive solutions.
- Finance & Risk are on a multi-year journey to modernize our data and technology ecosystem by leveraging an Integrated Cloud Platform. This initiative will additionally drive Business Transformation across Corporate Functions and redefine operating models across Risk, Finance, and other Corporate Functions.-
- Own and drive Finance or Risk work-stream deliverables, working closely with other Business Leads and enterprise stakeholders
- Support leadership in developing strategic plans for finance and risk implementations to meet upcoming and ongoing business and regulatory demands
- Work closely with senior management and leadership to solicit guidance on key objectives and incorporate as part of the overall strategy and roadmap
- Develop a strong understanding of current state and target state end-to-end processes and interdependencies across streams of work
- Strategize and coordinate business process change efforts by working in collaboration with upstream and downstream stakeholders including end-user community
- Deliver initiatives in a highly matrixed change and functional environment. Execute within budget, timelines, and other initiative commitments
- Continually reassesses business needs; identify opportunities for standardization, optimization, and scalability
- Partner with Finance and Risk Management stakeholders to deliver enhanced analytical capabilities for end-user enablement
- Interpret internal/external business challenges and the industry environment, recommend course of action and standard methodologies to improve products, processes, or services
- Work to ensure alignment between strategic management goals and day-to-day operational functions
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies within a timely manner and recommend mitigation against these business problems using a pragmatic approach and strategic outlook

**Job Requirements**
- Excellent knowledge of different business segments in TD from finance and risk perspective
- Working knowledge of data management best practices, data workflows, and data models
- Detailed understanding of finance and risk reporting - management, regulatory and financial reporting - and monitoring processes
- Prior working experience leading or delivering in change initiatives impacting cross-bank stakeholders and processes, utilizing waterfall and Agile project methodologies
- Strong leadership and relationship building capabilities
- Fundamental understanding of emerging regulatory standards and industry best practices impacting Risk Management
- Understanding of retail and non-retail products and associated information needs (e.g., facilities, instruments, securities, master, and reference data etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment and deal with ambiguity
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of end user tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI
- Familiarity with Python, VBA, SQL, SAS are nice to have
- CFA, FRM, PRM CPA, CA accreditations are nice to have
