**Position Overview**:
As the Manager, Clinical Informatics, reporting to the Director of Clinical Informatics, you will be an integral member of our leadership team. Your role is pivotal in leading the planning, design, coordination, and implementation of Clinical Information Systems (CIS) and digital health tools. Your goal is to ensure the seamless integration of technologies to enhance care quality, safety, and efficiency across the continuum of care.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the transformation of clinical practices, processes, documentation, and reporting through the integration of technologies.
- Provide strategic, tactical, and operational expertise to clinical teams and leaders.
- Act as a senior clinical informatics strategist, translating clinical requirements into actionable plans.
- Manage the Clinical Informatics team and related services, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, recruiting, training, and performance management.
**Qualifications**:
- Graduation from a school of nursing or allied health discipline.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Health Sciences Profession.
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of recent, related clinical leadership experience.
- Current practicing registration with an applicable regulatory body.

**Responsibilities**:
- Manages the Clinical Informatics team and related services by providing clinical informatics strategic expertise towards developing a vision and a roadmap for clinical informatics services and projects.
- Provides clinical informatics leadership to ensure CIS (Clinical Information System) and digital health tools design and future state workflows enable transformation and innovation in clinical practice, education, administration, and research across the continuum of care and across specified programs and/or specialties within FH (Fraser Health).
- Facilitates the integration of digital health technologies into clinical practice to enhance efficiency, safety, and care quality.
- Leads, collaboratively with the program/specialty and unit leadership, the efforts of clinical change management to prepare the sites for implementations and provides expert input towards clinical system design, build and maintenance decisions and implementations.
- Applies and provides informatics expertise to the development and operationalization of a framework to manage, govern, and sustain clinical content. Recommends prioritization for requests that require resourcing.
- Develops and promotes flexible and sustainable education and training strategies to gain commitment to implemented processes.
- Provides the strategic advice, facilitation and planning related to the clinical transformation and quality improvement efforts that leverage technologies and EHRs.
- Manages the clinical requirement elicitation, translation and prioritization work that guides the selection, design, implementation, maintenance, evaluation, and improvement of EHRs.
- Provides leadership and direction in the development of future state clinical content, workflows, and all necessary linkages to recommend appropriate clinical decision support interventions and future state workflows.
