We have an exciting opportunity at the GVF group We are looking for a dedicated **Monogastric Support Specialist **who will provide full in barn service and support to our dedicated Monogastric Specialists and their customers. We are looking for an organized, efficient, self-starter, who is passionate about agriculture, has a positive can-do attitude and can work very collaboratively within a team environment.

What you'll do: *
- Establish personal and positive working relationships with team members and producers.
- Ensure that all feeding systems used on farm to manufacture a complete ration are properly calibrated for optimal product and animal performance. This includes understanding and calibrating meter mills and liquid feeding systems.
- Pick up and deliver feed ingredients and feed and water samples for analysis from producers.
- Help with trial logistics including weighing animals and submitting results.
- Assist the team with organization, time management and customer request follow ups.
- Update and keep accurate records in the CRM system.
- Assist with prospecting efforts by drafting the prospecting plans specific to each prospective account, taking responsibility for action steps in the prospecting process.
- Manage GVF’s organic sow card program.
- Adhere to strict on farm bio-security protocols.
- Assist with weekly report distribution for Livestock Business Intelligence services

**Your background includes**:

- Diploma or Degree with an agricultural focus is an asset - we also like experience
- Relevant work experience servicing and supporting swine and poultry operations
- Experience working on an active livestock farm
- Good working knowledge of the swine, poultry and livestock industry at large
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly developed organization skills
- Willingness to learn and advance your knowledge and skills
- Excellent working knowledge and experience using CRM systems and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- A valid Canadian G Driver's License is required
- Ability to travel within rural Ontario 5 days a week
