**Do you want to go into business for yourself?** Community Support Connections is currently recruiting **Independent Contractors** for its Homemaking Program to provide assistance with light housekeeping, laundry and minor meal preparation. Our Homemakers do not provide any personal hygiene care at all... _no client bathing, dressing, lifting or biohazard cleaning whatsoever_. Although many of our Homemakers are former/current PSW's, our Contract Work is categorically easier, safer & much more flexible for applicants who may have other family/parental obligations, another job or even pursuing part-time education.

Our clients include older adults and persons with disabilities, living throughout **Cambridge, Kitchener and North Dumfries**.

Community Support Connections screens Homemakers through reference and police checks, and then matches them with eligible clients. This position is part-time with flexible hours. Clients pay a per-hour set fee (2 hour booking minimum) for the service, directly to the Homemaker.
- Exceptional cleaning skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Some experience with older adults and/or persons with disabilities
- Access to a reliable vehicle

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $22.00 per hour
