BMC paving is a paving and hardscape company based out of Cambridge Ontario. We have over 35 years of experience providing paving services and we proudly serve the KW area in asphalt and concrete services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspection
- Operate all functions and controls of the paver in coordination with the pickup machine safely with an emphasis on workmanship.
- Work closely with screed man and the rest of the crew to ensure paving operations keep moving in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform routine equipment maintenance
- Perform all duties in compliance with safe work practices, policies, procedures and government regulations.
- A willingness to make changes to achieve improvements.
- All other duties as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of operating a Paver, preferably within the asphalt/construction industry.
- Experience operating other equipment (excavators, asphalt rollers) would be a bonus.
- Documentation knowledge of: driver logs; pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintenance and repair reports; and trip reports.
- Ability to follow safe working procedures.
- Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and with little supervision.

Work will be Monday to Friday, with weekend dates when needed (not often)
