THE ROLE:
We have an exciting contract opportunity for a Facilities Technician to join our growing Project Services Facilities team in Calgary, AB. In this dynamic role, you will provide administrative support to ensure projects are executed efficiently, both in terms of cost-effectiveness and timeliness. This is a one-year contract position.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

- Maintain documentation for facility projects, managing both electronic and paper files
- Compile weekly reports including cost, schedule, engineering management of change (EMOC) and HSSE
- Assist with daily cost control for all projects. This includes WBS (AFE) setup, code verification, invoicing, material transfers, AMS payments, and cost reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with facility and inspector safety standards. upload all tickets, set up new employees / inspectors, assist in safety stand downs, and input third-party UA/UCs
- Collaborate with third party engineering companies as needed to ensure required information is provided for compliant project close outs and as-builts
- Assist in preparing AFE documents and cost estimates. Manage an information database, validate necessary approvals, prepare cost and trend analyses, and generate monthly accrual/variance statements as needed

WHAT YOU BRING:

- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- A Post-Secondary education
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Knowledge of SAP, Open Invoice, Maximo, Generwell, SiteView, Bluebeam, Open Ticket, MS Projects and eDocs is an asset
- Experience with data management and manipulation tools like PowerBI is preferred
- Experience in finance or supply chain is an asset
- Exceptional attention to detail, maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with an ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment within cross functional teams
