**Job Overview**

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Respite Workers. As a Respite Worker, you will provide support and care for families in need of respite services for their children. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those in our community.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide support to children living with Autism
- Provide an engaging, interactive, safe, and fun atmosphere for all participants
- Assist individuals with personal care, when needed
- Work closely with families and other care providers
- Accompany children on community outings such as the library, parks etc.

Qualifications:
**Education**:

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a working/reliable vehicle
- Valid First Aid/CPR/AED Certification or willingness to obtain within three months
- Experience working with children
- Disability or Rehabilitation Support Worker Certificate and/or related training and experience considered an asset.

**Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work effectively with individuals experiencing disabilities, co-workers and community partners
- Open minded creative, effective time management and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Freelance

**Salary**: $20.01-$20.51 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 10 per week
