**Job Summary**

**What is the opportunity?**

You will oversee the Fixed income Purchase and sales workflows in CM operations.

You will also manage and oversee supervisors and/or hourly/professional jobs and be responsible for setting the overall direction for employees.

**What will you do?**
- Actively monitor workflows to uncover opportunities for efficiencies and oversee the implementation of positive changes in the group’s workflows.
- Oversee the Fixed Income Purchase and Sales Team
- Effectively manage staff to provide focus and clarity in establishing individual goals, driving performance management, supporting career development, and rewarding strong performance.
- Proactively assess obstacles and identifies opportunities to improve overall team performance.
- Ensure adherence of operations risk policies as outlined in policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines instructions and ensure processes and controls are in place to minimize operations risk Supports the implementation of new processes/initiatives within team through testing and just in time training.
- Develop and monitor service quality, dealing with Service Partner/Client service issues in a professional manner.

**What you need to succeed?**
- Post-Secondary degree
- 4-7 years’ experience with robust knowledge of global securities settlement and clearance systems and depositories.
- FINRA series 99
- Strong knowledge of internal trading, operations, and accounting systems including.
- Understanding of the various functions within the department, the procedures and processes, and the risks that need to be monitored.
- Ability to manage people and processes.
- Strong communication skills.
