Air Canada is looking for an engaged, highly motivated and flexible individual to lead Cabin Product and Configuration. The incumbent will execute Air Canada's strategic vision and align it with the corporate priorities. A key focus will be placed on improving the cabin customer experience, optimizing aircraft configuration, and ensuring Air Canada's leadership position in these domains.

**Key Functions & Accountabilities**:

- Be the owner of strategies related to cabin product and cabin configuration including seat design, cabin design, and LOPA.
- Lead the research and benchmarking cabin product strategies for the airline
- Develop relationships with key partners (i.e. design agencies) to execute long-term strategy
- Manage internal and external product expectations
- Be accountable for product development, performance, and customer perception of all Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge, and Air Canada Express products.
- Be the owner of strategies related to cabin product and cabin configuration
- Liaise with other departmental leaders from the Brand, Maintenance, Network, Aircraft Programs, Strategic Purchasing, In-Flight Service, and any other relevant internal stakeholder to garner alignment and set product expectations
- Be the accountable corporate sponsor on aircraft betterment projects
- Be the accountable person for budgetary and financial transactions that impact the department

**Qualifications**
- A bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a related industry
- Experience in both new product development and operations an asset
- Experience with design software an asset
- Solid commercial and airline industry knowledge as well as an understanding of cabin delivery processes and environment
- Good understanding of airline competitive environment and best demonstrated practices
- Creative thinking and solution driven
- Strong leadership and negotiating skills
- Proven planning and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster cooperation
- Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict situations and bring then to proper and constructive resolution
- Capacity to manage multiple work demands
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional project teams. Project Management experience an asset.
