Textile Import company, located in Old Montreal near Place D'Armes. We are a family business. We serve clients across Canada and import têxtiles from several countries. We have been in business for over 50 years and are well respected in the industry. We also have real estate which we manage from the same offices.
**Job description**
We are looking for a person able to manage a variety of different tasks. A successful applicant will be able to process orders, adjust inventory, invoice clients, and be responsible for receivables. You will need to send out marketing letters. Send samples to clients, and help with online marketing of different fabrics we offer. You will also be controlling warehouse inventory, negotiate rates for transport, and manage warehouse and transport expenses. You will also need to be very organized and help with general organization in the office. Additionally, we also manage a few properties and you may be called on to organize repairs with trade professionals. Workday is from 8:30AM-5:00PM Monday to Friday.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $42,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
COVID-19 considerations:
You will be joining a small office of four people, so the risks are low. We seldom get visitors.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Montréal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
